Veritas U Winter/Spring Classes Begin

“Reading and discussing great literature with Rick Trumbo and others in the Veritas community gives us a glimpse of the great classical Christian education our daughter is receiving!” – Dave and Ila Watson

“Andrew Elizalde’s class walked us through a different approach to solving math problems from basic place value up to algebra. He showed us how to help our children excel in math by using games and even by how we phrase our math language. The class was highly  organized and I left with math manipulatives to start using at home.  Anytime I come to a Veritas meeting or class, I leave feeling so encouraged that the administration and teachers are striving to implement the most effective methods of learning.” – Alison Smith

“Four great evenings of intellectual stimulation with other brothers and sisters in Christ in the Veritas community, masterfully guided by Rick Trumbo.  We enjoyed fellowship and thoughtful conversation that focused on the issues facing today’s society.  The evenings were refreshing given that they were distinct from our usual parent gatherings that focus on the students.” – Jeff and Donna Coward

We are excited to kick off the second season of Veritas U.  Parents, grandparents, and friends of Veritas are invited to attend these evening sessions featuring book clubs, a support-at-home series, and thought-provoking discussions around some of the great ideas that have shaped our country and world. Veritas U is a reflection of our ongoing to commitment to provide learning and growth opportunities to the broader Veritas community in ways that:

  • build community
  • nurture wisdom and understanding
  • model a lifetime learning for our children

We hope you will explore the remarkable line up of fall classes available and make plans to attend.
