Upper School Math Teacher

Upper School Life Science Teacher
Veritas School seeks a full-time life science/biology teacher to teach life science (grade 7) and biology (grade 9) and possibly an advanced science course (grade 12).  The person in this position will work closely with the other members of the upper school science department to develop and refine the science curriculum.

Qualifications/Experience:  Exhibits a passion for glorifying God and inspiring students through the life sciences; demonstrates outstanding collaborative skills and a desire to work in a team-focused department; has, ideally, prior upper school teaching experience; has a passion for the life sciences that is clearly demonstrated to the students and parents through his or her teaching style; has a knowledge of the classical education model; is a life-long learner who will be an exemplary role model.  A bachelor’s degree in biology and an advanced science degree is preferred.

Upper School Choir Director
Veritas School is seeking a part-time choir teacher (Grades 5-12) with responsibility for leading:
5th/6th Grade Boys and/or Girls choirs
7th/8th Grade Mixed Choir
9th-12th Mixed Choir semester elective
9th-12th Mixed or Womens/Mens “Chamber Choir” semester elective
*Total teaching periods (50-minute) per week: 7-8 (final academic schedule depending) Reporting to the Director of Arts Education, this position requires an experienced choir educator and musician who is personable, energetic, knowledgeable of choral pedagogy, organized, flexible and who will provide leadership, communication, administrative oversight, and creative vision to the comprehensive choir program.

Lower School Choir Director
Veritas School is seeking a part-time choir teacher (Grades 5-12) with responsibility for leading:
3rd Grade Treble Choir
4th Grade Treble Choir
5th/6th Grade Boys and/or Girls choirs
*Total teaching periods (50-minute) per week: 3-4 (final academic schedule depending) Reporting to the Director of Arts Education, this position requires an experienced choir educator and musician who is personable, energetic, knowledgeable of choral pedagogy, organized, flexible and who will provide leadership, communication, administrative oversight, and creative vision to the comprehensive choir program.
