FIELD TRIPS
Field trips are designed to enrich classroom learning. The following is a sampling of annual Veritas field trips.

  • K: Meadow Farm, Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens, Theater IV
  • 1st Grade: Jamestown, Williamsburg, Virginia Historical Society (Virginia History)
  • 2nd Grade: Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (Ancient History), Maymont Park, Virginia Living Museum (Science)
  • 3rd Grade: Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (Ancient History), Valentine Museum (Greek & Roman History and Architecture), Morefield Mine (Earth Science - Geology)
  • 4th Grade: Agecroft Hall, Washington National Cathedral (Medieval history), Science Museum of Virginia (Introductory Biology)
  • 5th Grade: Monticello, Virginia Museum of Frontier Culture (Early American History)
  • 6th Grade: Pamplin Historical Park, Richmond Holocaust Museum (American/World History 1860-Present)
