The Veritas approach to education begins with the graduate and the young adult in mind. Our vision for your child is focused on what he or she will become in their adult lives as young Christian men and women. The Veritas curriculum and method of education are built and driven by this vision.

We are committed to providing your child:
  • True integration of the Christian faith and life in the learning process
  • Foundational knowledge on which each student will build a lifetime of learning
  • The skills to reason clearly and think independently
  • The ability to communicate persuasively, state what they believe and why they believe it
In modern educational circles, our method is called "Classical Christian Education." Although not familiar to most school settings today, it is certainly not new. In fact, the "classical" method is a return to teaching children the way they were taught for centuries in various cultures around the world. It was the primary method of educating children in the United States until the early 1900s.

Research continues to support that children have a natural capacity for certain types of learning as they progress from elementary to high school age. At Veritas, we instill in your child three primary tools of learning:
  • Knowledge (or "Grammar")
  • Reasoning (or "Logic")
  • Communication/expression (or "Rhetoric")
These tools (also known as the Trivium, the first three of the liberal arts) are foundational language skills that are essential in developing understanding and wisdom in children. Throughout all our core subjects (Math, Science, History/Geography, Literature, Writing, Bible, Latin, Fine Arts and Music), these tools of learning are applied in order to be learned, honed and developed by our students.

The curriculum at Veritas is carefully selected in order to prepare our students for a variety of post-secondary educational experiences. But, our primary objective is to instill in your child a genuine love and enthusiasm for learning and the tools of learning that will prepare them for faithful and thoughtful lives.

Our teachers will work diligently with the unique personality and characteristics of each student in order to equip them with the skills necessary for a lifetime of classical learning - the ability to think logically, reason clearly and communicate persuasively.
