Mr. Jack Templeton

Director of Performing Arts, Choral Teacher
Jack Templeton has directed choral and instrumental ensembles ranging from elementary groups to church choirs to university chorales. He holds a Master’s in Choral Conducting from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music and a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Bachelor’s in Music Education from Bob Jones University. From 2001-2011, his high-school choral groups won many first-place awards at both state and national competitions. He has conducted oratorios and musical theater productions with professional orchestras and bands. As a baritone, Jack performed with the Cleveland Orchestra and Chorus, and sang at the World Choral Festival in Seoul, Korea. Jack’s passion is to help young students develop a love of quality music and learn skills they can use for a lifetime. He and his wife Minda have served together in various church ministries, and they enjoy singing, camping, hiking, and going to the beach with their daughter, Emilee Grace.
