Mr. Derrick Scarborough

PE Teacher

Mr. Scarborough has over three decades of educational experience, including twenty-four as an administrator and ten as a science and health teacher in the classroom. He holds a M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Lynchburg College, Science Instruction Endorsement from Longwood University, and a BS in Health and Physical Education from Liberty University. Mr. Scarborough writes: “Working with young people has always been my passion, either a Sunday School teacher, a youth director, or a speaker, ministering to the young has been part of my life for the past 40 years.” Derrick and his wife Doreen, of 28 years, have lived in the Richmond area for 10 years. They have two adult children, Cristol and Adrian (Christina), and two grandchildren, Destiny and Trinity. In his free time Derrick enjoys working out, and playing golf.
