Ms. Lauren Light

Ms. Lauren Light earned a B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Tech. Following graduation, she joined staff with Cru where she fostered a passion for shepherding young people on their spiritual journeys. After spending one year living in the Middle East teaching English at the university level, Ms. Light was introduced to Veritas as a soccer coach and her desire and vision for working with students as a classical educator began to grow. She looks forward to applying the skills she developed in campus ministry in the Upper School classroom and within Veritas athletics. In her free time, Ms. Light enjoys lifting weights, going on camping trips, and curating perfect cups of coffee for herself and her friends. She joyfully attends Redemption Hill Church, and looks forward to meeting more of the Veritas community in the coming year.
