Mr. Alex Weis

LTC (RET) Alex Weis has an M.A. in Philosophy from St. Louis University, an M.A. in Theological Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary, and a B.A. magna cum laude in Biblical Studies and Philosophy from Belhaven University. Mr. Weis’s Army career included time in the Chemical Corps, Cavalry, Special Forces, and Senior Operations Management, and he spent five years as an instructor at the Unites States Military Academy in West Point, NY. Most recently, Mr. Weis has been teaching at Saint Augustine Classical School, where he has been practicing his love for integrating philosophy, theology, history, and literature into a comprehensive and coherent narrative in the classroom. Alex and his wife Haven have six children, and they look forward to relocating to Richmond this summer and entering the Veritas community.
