Mr. Isaac Jorgensen

Athletic Director and PE Teacher
Mr. Isaac Jorgensen has been teaching and coaching since 2014 in a variety of locations, including Maryland, Florida, and—most recently—Virginia. His coaching background includes varsity football, baseball, track and field, and middle school basketball. Isaac is a graduate of Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire, where he played four years of college football and received a degree in History. He also received a master's degree in Educational Leadership from DePaul University. After teaching Humanities at Veritas for three years, "Mr. J" looks forward to leading the Athletics Program and Physical Education Department in the Upper School. Isaac was married in 2017 to his wife, Alexis, who works as Orthopedic Surgeon at VCU/MCV. Together they regularly explore the Richmond area finding new coffee shops and trying all types of restaurants. For fun, Isaac loves to play golf, keep up with college football, and follow his beloved Seattle Seahawks.
