Mrs. Sunny Rosebro
Upper School Art Teacher
Mrs. Rosebro graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Comprehensive Arts and teaching certification (art, pre-K- 12th ). She has taught art in a variety of educational institutions, has twice been nominated to Who’s Who in American Teaching and holds a certification in Discipline Based Art Education from the Getty Institute. Mrs. Rosebro was the Assistant Coordinator for Youth and Family Programs at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts for four years and maintains extensive contacts in the museum world. Sunny also facilitates the entry of upper school artwork into various competitions in which Veritas students have excelled, highlighting the excellent reputation of the Veritas art program. The Rosebros have been associated with Veritas School since 2004, have a daughter who recently graduated from the Upper School, enjoy living in the city and exploring the outdoors.
