Mrs. Beth Scott
Director of the Visual Arts Department, Lower School Art Teacher
Mrs. Scott graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communication Arts and Design. She worked in various agencies in the Richmond area as an award winning Art Director, Creative Director, and a Vice President of Creative Services. After enrolling her 2 sons in Veritas her passions moved into Classical Education and how that applied to the fine arts. After 12 years with Veritas, Mrs. Scott has developed a K-6 curriculum, Art For the Classical Child, and has coordinated a gifted group of art teachers to develop a scope and sequence through grade 12. She enjoys illustration and painting in her free time.
