Ms. Sarah McWhorter

Ms. Sarah WcWhorter grew up attending classical schools and has a B.F.A. in Visual Communications magna cum laude from the University of Oklahoma. She taught elementary and middle school art at a private school in Dallas before moving to Wyoming, where she taught art and served as a fourth-grade teacher at Jackson Hole Classical Academy (alongside our own Mrs. Greb!). Along with pottery and reading, she loves hiking, backpacking, paddleboarding, and spending time with her five delightful nieces and nephews. Ms. McWhorter has known about Veritas ever since she encountered some of our faculty at the 2016 and 2017 SCL conferences, and she is excited to join our art team and teach both Lower School art and Upper School ceramics in the fall.
