  • Director of Advancement

What is it like to work at Veritas?

We are a team of friends, not merely colleagues, who are committed to shaping the hearts and minds of students through our shared efforts. Over the past decade, God has grown our school to include 660 students and over 100 faculty and staff who have been drawn to Veritas from locations across our city, our country, and even the world. Together, our administrators, faculty, staff, and families have created a compelling vision of education that has placed our school in a leadership position within the classical Christian community. We go to work each day on our beautiful, historic campus in the Northside of Richmond alongside colleagues that we know and respect, and we frequently see our own children on the academic quad as we walk from building to building. We are certainly not perfect, but we love working and serving Christ together.

We are now looking for others who resonate with our vision and values and would like to join our administrative team. One of the key positions that is currently open is the Director of Advancement. We are very excited about this new position that will play a major role in telling the Veritas story! We are looking for someone who wants to describe the benefits and beauty of a classical Christian education to parents, neighbors, potential donors, and friends in our local community and beyond. As a member of the senior leadership team, the Director of Advancement will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in designing and implementing institutional advancement efforts that include marketing and communications, admission and enrollment management, development, and constituent relations.

If this sounds appealing to you and you have a background that you think is a fit, we would like to hear from you. Marketing, communications, and leadership experience is desired, but we are primarily interested in who you are and secondarily interested in what you know and can do. On-the-job growth is expected, and you will be surrounded by an experienced team who supports you and enjoys working together.
