  • Director of Marketing & Communications

    Would you like to tell the story of a classical Christian school that began in 2000 and now includes 675 students and over 100 faculty and staff who have been drawn from locations across our city, our country, and even the world?  

    Would you like to join a team of friends, not merely colleagues, who are committed to shaping the hearts and minds of students through our shared efforts? 

    Can you work with administrators to describe a compelling vision of education, one that has placed our school in a leadership position within the classical Christian community? 

    Veritas School is seeking a Director of Marketing & Communications who will create clear and effective messaging for both internal and external audiences that is consistent with the school’s mission and vision. The Director of Marketing & Communications is a key member of the Advancement team and oversees a number of areas of school communication, including: 
    • the weekly newsletter 
    • marketing materials 
    • development materials 
    • the annual magazine 
    • the website 
    • visual communication of the Veritas brand 
    A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or a similar field is required. Aptitude with words and editing is a must; experience in graphic design, web editing, and photography is a plus. On-the-job growth is expected, and you will be surrounded by an experienced team who supports you and enjoys working together.

  • Front Office Receptionist

    Veritas School is currently seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team in the role of Front Office Receptionist. This position requires someone who can efficiently navigate busy and slow times while maintaining a warm, cheerful, hospitable attitude. The Receptionist welcomes our parents, students, faculty, staff, and guests to Graves Hall and plays a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment at the heart of the Lower School. 
     
    If you are a dedicated individual who thrives in a social environment and you would like to work in a school culture that is deeply faithful to Jesus and aligned with a Classical tradition, we would like to hear from you. Faculty Positions

  • Veritas Fellow (2024-25)

    The Fellows Program at Veritas School is designed to prepare and equip teachers to work within the classical Christian tradition. Developed in coordination with the Society for Classical Learning, the program aims to recruit and develop aspiring educators who are committed to serving God wholeheartedly by cultivating students of wisdom and virtue. Fellowships run from August 10, 2024 – June 10, 2025 and include on-campus housing and a stipend. You can learn more about the program here

    If you are a recent college graduate with a desire to enter the field of classical Christian education in an environment that includes mentoring, support, and increasing classroom responsibilities, we welcome your application for a 2024-25 Fellowship. Applications are due March 15, 2024.

  • Lower School Teacher (2024-25)

    Are you a teacher who is serious about historic and orthodox Christian faith and practice, passionate about Christian formation in an educational context, and committed to co-laboring with parents and churches to raise the next generation? If so, you would feel at home with the faculty at Veritas School in Richmond, Virginia.

  • Academic Support Teacher for Grades 4 - 8 (2024-25)

    Do you have a heart for children who are struggling in school? Do you enjoy working with small groups of students? Do you have a teaching background and strong organizational skills? At Veritas, our Academic Support team (the "Scholars' Studio") aims to support struggling students, their teachers, and their parents in a school culture that is deeply faithful to Jesus, aligned with the classical Christian tradition, and full of joy. We're looking for a Scholars’ Studio Teacher for grades 4 - 8 to join the team. 
     
    The Scholars' Studio teacher's work will include teaching small groups of students who struggle with phonics, reading, writing, and math in collaboration with the Director of Academic Support and other members of the Academic Support team.

On-the-job growth is expected, and you will be surrounded by an experienced team who love working together on our lovely historic campus in the Northside neighborhood of Richmond, VA.
