Mrs. Sarah Hastings
Elective Teacher (Fiber Arts)
Sarah Hastings graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015, where she majored in Art Education and double minored in Art History and Craft and Material Studies. She was blessed to join the Veritas School family in 2017. Mrs. Hastings serves in the Upper School as a Ceramics and Fiber Arts teacher and will also be teaching a few Lower School art classes. Prior to teaching at Veritas, Mrs. Hastings worked for 10 years at a local art studio. Mrs. Hastings' work as an artist and teacher is greatly enriched by the time she spent studying and serving in Central and South America. She enjoys knitting, cooking, gardening and exploring Richmond with her husband, Jonathan.
