Mrs. Annie Thurston
Second Grade Teacher
Annie Thurston joined the Lower School faculty in 2017. Her previous classroom experience includes several years serving at-risk children. Annie has a bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and a MAT degree from Mary Baldwin College. In addition to her years teaching, she has been a clothing buyer for Macy’s NY, a book buyer for the National Gallery of Art, a store manager, a director of children’s ministry, and a mother to three daughters and two sons; all young adults. These diverse experiences have enriched and equipped her to serve at Veritas, where she can put her many passions to use. Her husband, Chris, is very happy to see his wife come home each day with a song in her heart.
