Mr. Joshua Betts
Mathematics Teacher
Mr. Betts joined the Veritas community from England, where he was a Mathematics teacher in west London for ten years. During this time he taught all high school levels of math (Algebra, Geometry, Calculus, Advanced Statistics, etc), held the position of Head of the Mathematics department, and mentored new mathematics teachers just graduating from local universities. He has studied how students learn mathematics both in the US and abroad, most recently earning a Masters of Science in Mathematics Education from the University of Oxford, England. Mr. Betts enjoys spending time with his family, reading books about science and creation, DIY projects, and a cup of proper coffee. He is joined in Richmond by his wonderful wife Rebecca and three young children: Jude, Adele, and Lea.
