Athletic Field Opening on Monday, May 2
Veritas students and parents are warmly invited to join us on Monday, May 2, as we celebrate the opening of the new field with three events:
2:30 PM | Parent & Student Celebration and Ribbon-Cutting
3:00 PM | Varsity Boys' Soccer Exhibition
4:00 PM | Varsity Girls' Match vs. Richmond Christian School
3:00 PM | Varsity Boys' Soccer Exhibition
4:00 PM | Varsity Girls' Match vs. Richmond Christian School
The festivities will begin at 2:30 PM, when parents are invited to join students and teachers on the field for a prayer of dedication, ribbon cutting, and a display of school spirit (students and parents are encouraged to wear Veritas blue & gold!).
At 3:00 PM, Lower School students will be dismissed from classrooms with no carline and the Varsity Boys' Soccer Exhibition will begin on the field.

At 4:00 PM, we invite our community to gather for our first home soccer game on the new field and to cheer for our Varsity girls' soccer team as they compete against Richmond Christian School.
Concessions will be available for purchase, including drinks, treats, and Chick-fil-A sandwiches.
As part of the celebration of our new field opening, we invite our students (and parents!) to have a community Blue & Gold Day on Monday, May 2. Students are invited to wear blue and gold tops with Veritas uniform bottoms or jeans (no ripped jeans, jean shorts, or leggings) and to show their creativity and school spirit with Veritas-branded gear and other accessories, as long as they do not prohibit participation in school activities.
