Mr. Scott Dicken

Math Teacher

Mr. Scott Dicken has taught in the Upper School since 2016. His primary teaching responsibilities include high school mathematics and rhetoric courses, and he has assisted with our senior thesis program as well. He comes to Veritas with a diverse academic background, including dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematical Sciences and Physics from Virginia Commonwealth University. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Florida Atlantic University and a Master of Arts degree in English from West Virginia University. Before joining Veritas, Mr. Dicken taught several college-level courses in algebra and writing and enjoys bringing that insight to our Upper School students. Outside of class, he serves in an administrative role with the house system and co-organizes the school’s monthly Parent/Grandparent Book Club.
