Mrs. Laurie Howell

Humanities Teacher

After graduating from Radford University with a degree in history and a secondary education certification, Laurie spent ten years as a fulltime mom before entering the teaching profession. Laurie came to Veritas with over twelve years of experience in the classroom and is now in her tenth year of teaching humanities and rhetoric classes in our school community. After commuting to campus from the Tri-City area for a number of years, Laurie and her husband Graham now live a block away from Veritas! An involved grandmother, Laurie enjoys the close proximity of her three grown children and their growing families. The Howells are actively involved with their church community to work and pray for the good of the Northside and the discipleship of the saints.
