Mrs. Emily van der Vaart

Mrs. Emily van der Vaart holds a Bachelors of Science from the School of Media Arts and Design at James Madison University. She enjoys building community and is excited to grow and develop relationships at Veritas as the Capital Campaign Manager.  Before joining the Development team, Emily worked for the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University establishing relationships between students and recruiting partners and on Capital Hill, hosting fundraising events.  Emily finds joy in experiencing the Kingdom of God with others by playing games, volunteering at church, and hosting friends and family in her home.  Emily and her husband, Hendrik, have three children, two enrolled at Veritas and one pre-schooler.
