Mr. Doug Young

Fourth Grade Teacher

Doug returned to Veritas as a teacher in 2015, having previously served Veritas as Lower School Principal (2007 -2010) and 6th grade teacher (2002-2007). Following several years as an Associate Pastor of Family Ministry in Atlanta, Doug returned to the field of Education in 2014 as a 7th and 8th grade Humanities teacher. Doug holds a Masters of Divinity in Christian Education from Southern Seminary, and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Religion and Music from Mary Washington College. Doug and his wife Alicia have four children enrolled at Veritas.
